I have been selling on eBay since 2003, as a single mom who had been downsized out of a job. I was selling on eBay to fill the gaps while I looked for another job. After a few weeks, I recognized that I could earn a full-time living selling items from thrift stores and garage sales. I still sell from my original eBay store which you can see here.
Years later, other people started contacting me to help them learn how to make money on eBay. I started this blog, wrote a book, and started a YouTube channel to help other sellers learn.
I understand skepticism about eBay mentors on the internet - there are a lot of snake oil salesmen out there. I am not one of them. Actually, Amazon has amended their Grocery requirement to allow store receipts - you only need 3, and they'll approve you for sales in Grocery or HBA.

I have heard from other sellers that grocery store receipts are hit or miss. It has worked for some, but not for all. It may depend on the CSR reviewing the receipt.
Amazon is famous for the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing!

I was wondering, with the new eBay defect rating, if you are making any changes in the way that you do business? For instance, I'm hearing some sellers are adding notes to their packages asking customers to contact them via their private email rather than through eBay if there is an issue in order to avoid an item not as described.
