Had to adjust just a tiny bit, but survived easily enough.

Thank you SO much for this encouragement!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13128259399682168808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3394330405783389501.post-70948573038350203172014-05-22T09:29:08.043-07:002014-05-22T09:29:08.043-07:00Hey, Angie,

Grocery provides unlimited opportunities because new items are constantly being released.

Book sellers thought their businesses would die when the Kindle was invented. That didn't happen.

Grocery sellers had to adjust to Add-Ons and those who did are doing just fine.

I don't see thousands of Prime Customers suddenly ordering boxes of groceries if that hasn't been their pattern of buying - and many won't want to pay the $5.99 shipping because they are already paying the annual Prime membership fee. JMO.
Suzanne A. (It was in my reports as something I might consider selling) When I clicked on it to check it out there were zero offers....but still had a price. Which makes me think that even though the Pantry will be open to FBA they are going to price fix so there will be ZERO profit. (And more than likely LOSE money)

I was talking to another seller. She went to check out the mix and found out that she COULD buy it.

I'm a little bit concerned about this change because even though I sell some beauty and H&P, I'm mainly grocery.

At least I've made it a habit of going wide and not deep, so I can bail if the time comes.

Thanks for responding!
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13128259399682168808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3394330405783389501.post-91252086880812336092014-05-21T11:50:14.154-07:002014-05-21T11:50:14.154-07:00Hi, Angie, thanks for visiting!
I can think of a ...Hi, Angie, thanks for visiting!

I can think of a few reasons why a buyer would still buy a multipack of an item when a single could be available for less through Amazon Prime Pantry:

1. Amazon Pantry isn't available everywhere yet, it is only in limited areas. So if it isn't available to a customer, the $3 item might be an add-on and the only way they can get it is by ordering a multipack that isn't an add-on.

2. I don't believe Amazon Pantry is eligible for FBA Export. Some non-food grocery items can be shipped internationally, and if the international customer can't order from Prime Pantry, they will order a multipack as usual.

3. What if a customer simply doesn't want to order an entire box full of groceries? Maybe they just want their multipack of brownie mix and nothing else.

Those are just a few reasons I can think of. Would love your feedback!Suzanne A.
