The Goodwill store is a goldmine. I will admit, I have an addition problem. My car won't let me pass one - it goes on autopilot. I am always thinking, "I wonder what is in there today." Goodwill Industries has really gotten on the ball over the last few years improving their thrift stores. The quality merchandise in the Goodwill store is unbelievable, in fact, I couldn't have started my eBay business without it. Over the last 6 years, I have made over $200,000 reselling Goodwill store finds.
But what if you don't have a Goodwill store near you? Well, you can still get in on the action. Goodwill Too is the online version of the Goodwill Store. You can find all kinds of new and gently used items to add to your eBay store including clothing, electronics, jewelry, health and beauty products, toys, home decor, and even As Seen on TV products. Here are a few examples of items on Goodwill Too:
Obey Your Body Wrinkle Cream - $3.99, retails for $64.95
Barbie and Ken Star Trek 30th Anniversary - $14.99 Retails for $72.99.
You may or may not be able to find items to resell on Goodwill Too. Remember, you will be paying shipping on whatever you order. Shipping is an $8.99 flat fee to U.S. addresses (up to 150 lbs). So if you order several items, that is a great deal. However, this is also a way save money on items for yourself or your family, and you will be supporting a charity at the same time. Click here to browse around Goodwill Too and see what you can find. Pay special attention to the RECENTLY ARRIVED section so you can grab the good deals before anyone else sees them!
Enjoy your weekend,
We don't have a Goodwill, in fact we only have one thrift store in my town, but it is a gold mine. If it went out of business, so would my Ebay store!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your information. I never knew you could sell health and beauty items until I found your blog. I don't sell too much on ebay, but last week I sold an olay tinted moisturizer that I found on clearance at Rite Aid for $2.24, on ebay for $11.50. That's pretty good for me! Wish I had bought more. I didn't know it was worth anything at the time, went home and checked the completed listings, but they were gone when I went back.
ReplyDeleteNo good will near me, but we do have several thrift stores. This is a very rural area, so most of the stuff isn't worth much, but once in a while I find something worth re-selling.
Wow! Didn't know about this site. Have been on ShopGoodwill.org where individual stores auction items off. You can search on that site locally and then pick up the items you win! No shipping.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the ideas. I have just started selling on eBay. I can use these ideas.
