If you're selling on eBay and not offering international shipping, here is some food for thought.
I highly recommend offering international shipping on your eBay listings as it increases the number of bidders on your items which can increase the final price of your items. Also, offering international shipping increases the traffic to your store, which will increase the number of items sold, as well as auction sale price.
Many eBay sellers do not ship internationally, so once an international customer finds you and knows that you will accommodate him, he will be back to shop with you again, or may order multiple items from you. A few other facts:
1) 49% of the customers on the eBay USA site are international. You're missing a huge part of the eBay market if you don't ship internationally.
2) eBay has over 247 million users worldwide.
3) Supplies may be limited in other countries. International consumers are coming to eBay to make purchases - you can be there to accommodate them.
4) eBay and Paypal do all the translating and currency conversion for you. Working with international customers is interesting and easy.
5) International customers often purchase used items. They are more environmentally consciuos and are more apt to recycle clothing. Also, international customers understand the value and durability of high quality clothing and have no problem purchasing used clothing items.
International shipping is not difficult or complicated. It just involves a few more steps than shipping a package within the United States. Once you have shipped a few packages internationally, you’ll be a pro. My latest eBook, "eBay International Shipping Made Easy" will help you learn the steps for shipping a package most anywhere in the world.
Happy selling,

A large portion of my Buyers are International Customers. I always enjoy hearing back that their items arrived safely. It's really easy to do!
